This day began with a Castle shot, and then a Frozen magic shot because, you know, gotta keep making the most of the Memory Maker included in my overpriced Disney ticket.
Then Paige and I commenced a Best of the Magic Kingdom Rides Tour. It all began the night before when suddenly fast passes were released for a bunch of highly sought after rides.
We used our fast passes for Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, and the Mine Train dedicated to seven, short men.
We were lucky enough to walk straight onto the People Mover!
It turned out to be a wild ride.
We also came across some political muppets.
It was the first day animatronic Trump was presented to the public.
We headed back to the hotel to get ready for the most festive portion of the day. I never imagined I would buy any additional Disney tickets, not even for a very merry Christmas party. I wasn’t so sure about joining Mickey’s festive celebration.
Next minute (not actually a minute)...
When the next Disney princess wears pyjamas in public, is still single at 29, and loves eating cake and cookies, just know that I was the inspiration.
Part of the fun of the party is all the treats. Just look out for these candy canes at a variety of locations.
Pick up delicious goodies, including hot chocolate, snowcones, chocolate milk, and an assortment of cookies.
The best part is you can go back as many times as you want. You could even go back to the same location three times. I’m not saying that’s what I did. Ok, that’s exactly what I did.
Lexi and her friend came to party too.
We met up with a few royal revellers.
They were most impressed with my tiny hat.
I had to reveal it was not mine, but Paige’s.
They were also impressed with my comfortable, yet stylish clothing choice.
Rapunzel and Flynn were excellent storytellers.
Flynn taught us his smouldering technique - just be a duck staring into the sun. We attempted this technique a little later that evening.
We were having a ball.
We had a little boogie with some elves and reindeer in Club Tinsel.
Next up was a ride on the Jungle Jingle Cruise.
Holiday Wishes was Disney’s standard, explosive best.
I would’ve said firey best, but Maleficent takes that cake now.
The parade was definitely a highlight.
This time our attire and our enthusiastic cheers got us noticed.
Frozen skiers kept circling back around, lapping up the applause. Kriostoff said we looked very festive.
Bert heard our cheers and turned back around. Toy soldiers motioned about ears and saluted us.
Aladdin winked at us, with Jasmine right there. I guess he’s still a bit of a street rat.
The parade was a delightful spectacle.
I caught the Castle Show for the second time that evening.
The evening concluded with a photoshoot on Main Street.
Lexi and I exchanged see ya real soons.
Paige and I left for our hotel at 1am. I needed to catch the Magical Express to the airport at 4am. When I crawled into bed at 2:20am I may or may not have already been wearing my clothes for the next day.
Was this the first time I employed this little time saving trick? Yes.
Would it be the last time? Sadly, no.
At 3:40am I slipped on my shoes, and a short time later I was boarding the bus.
My American Adventures were about to lead me to St Louis, Missouri for the first time. But first I spent the morning wishing I was rich enough to afford a private jet, and a sleep in.
