Guess who’s coming back. Back again...
It’s me!
In just six sleeps I’ll be back in the land of the fries and sweet pies. It’s been almost 2 years since I lived in America and I’m missing the place way too much. More importantly I’m missing the people even more.
My first stop will be New York to spend time with these cool people.
They used to live in sunny Miami, but now they live in Long Island. I’ve made a list of lots of fun, fall, festive, and of course many free activities we might get up to. On the list is Aladdin on Broadway, plus a road trip to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving.

Next I’ll be stopping by Wisconsin to visit Kyra and my Nowacki family.
Kyra and I worked together at Pizza Planet (yes, the one from Toy Story) in Disney World. We rocked out all over Disney and most of its restaurants.
I’m keen to visit the cheesiest state in America again, and meet the newest member of the clan, Elyse.
Next I’ll be ticking Georgia off my bucket list with a visit to Bailey. We also worked together at Pizza Planet.
That’s Bailey with Kyra, Sebastian and I. Our friendship is based mainly on a mutual love of Buffalo Wild Wings. I’m pumped to catch up and see his part of the world.
No trip to America would be complete without a visit to my former hometown, Orlando. I’ve been missing the Disney magic. Yes, I know I experienced some of the magic at Disneyland Shanghai in June this year, but it’s not quite the same as Disney World.
I’m most excited to be reunited with my TSPP (Toy Story Pizza Planet) twin, Paige. This is us that time we decorated an Easter bucket for a prize charity. (We came first, by the way... out of two entrants.)
Our friendship started with drinking far too many bottomless milkshakes and took off from there.
There are a few other friends still hanging around Orlando that I’m hoping to see, like Lexi.
They say you are what you eat.
Next on my American Adventure is a trip to Missouri to see my former Disney College Program roomie, Kenzie, who I’ve been missing a tonne since her visit to Australia.
Then I’ll be venturing back to the Empire State to spend more time with Alicia and Carlos, but this time Mum will be there too. I’m sure she’ll be keen to get a new Facebook profile picture. Here’s her current one from June 2016, which is the last time we were all together.
We’ll be spending Christmas and New Year’s Eve together with a few special guests, including our Christmas visit to Connecticut where we get to meet Samuel and his family, who Mum and I have only met on Skype.
The countdown is on and I could not be more excited for fall, family, friends who are family, and candy.
