Anna and I thought we might try our luck and see if Sci-Fi Diner had some seating for dinner, it did not, but never fear, the slightly more upmarket Brown Derby had seating for two. But before we could cast our critical eyes over the joint, it was imperative we let our singing voices go at the Frozen Sing-A-Long.
And then after a couple of loops of the Studios and visiting Mr Incredible and Frozone our dining reservation was upon us.
It was quite the classy establishment.
I opted to keep my conspicuous headwear on.
Anna selected a slightly classier look.
Once again Anna maintained her decorum with her tiny meal and then her tiny dessert.
I, on the other hand, was given a crab claw on my plate, which I could only assume was a photographic prop.
My meal was both delicious and satisfying.
You might wonder how we could afford to dine in such an establishment, but we only ordered appetisers and dessert and filled up on the free carbs, so the price of the mains never bothered us anyway.
We capped off our classy evening with our journey to the bus. The Mission Impossible theme music was on when we exited the restaurant so naturally we began prowling and skirting around bins. Then we realised we might not make the bus, so we went slightly bush as we did that fully awkward half walk, half run thing.
