"Whispering" Canyon Cafe

My journey to the Whispering Canyon Cafe began during a lunch break with fellow Pizza Planeteer, Paige. I mentioned the bottomless milkshakes, Paige asked if I wanted to go, I said yes. She suggested that night and once again I said yes.

After a lift home from work Paige and I ran into her friend Julian. The three of us then parted to prepare for our evening at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Paige, Julian and I reconvened at the bus stop. We arrived at the Cafe a little earlier than our reservation, so did a spot of shopping. It was apparently the perfect time to purchase mugs because we all bought one. Paige's is a Chip teacup, Julian's shows Mickey having a rough morning and mine has a picture of my Disney doppelgänger.

After telling guest relations about the awesome Richard, who served us in the shop, we reached the Cafe. If you ever want to be surprised by what could occur during your time at the restaurant the time to stop scrolling has arrived, but if you couldn't care less about surprises just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling scrolling scrolling... and maybe read some of the words too.

The loud servers throw straws at you, call Paige's mum/mom and get the whole restaurant to say hi, scare you, pretend they're about to drop a tray of cups that are actually taped down and when you ask for the ketchup people at another table bring ALL the ketchup they were harbouring and then you carry it all to the next condiment requesting customers.

And now for the definitive ranking of bottomless shakes*
1) Strawberry
2) Caramel
3) Chocolate
*Unfortunately my stomach is not bottomless, so it couldn't accommodate the vanilla shake, but Paige assures me it was delicious.

We were all mere metres (or feet for my non-metric minded readers) from the twilight zone of dairy comas by the end of the night.

We all stumbled to the bathrooms before proceeding to the bus stop where Julian decided the Australian accent could best be practised by repeated poor attempts to say "no" the way I do. This garnered us some strange looks.  Paige, on the other hand, did a pretty solid job.

The Whispering Canyon Cafe definitely deserves another visit, even if it's just to sample the Vanilla shake.
