The night was months in the making. Anna I requested time off, bought tickets and materials to make our costumes. With all that preparation you'd think we would've put our costumes together a little earlier than a few hours before the party.
We left a little later than intended, but scrubbed up a lot better than expected in our DIY costumes. Even one of the security guards at Patterson complimented us, giving me my new name Miss Captain America. Then we were stopped for a selfie on the way to the bus.
Sometimes superheroes have to catch Transtar too.
We were welcomed by an array of pumpkins.
Then came the parade. I was getting a little hangry, wondering if it would be worth the wait.
It was frightfully awesome, especially the Haunted Mansion dancers with shovels. I've never seen dancers with garden tools before, but I want to see more. I bet they could really work a rake or a hoe.
The party was only just beginning, unlike this blog post. But stay tuned for answers to the important questions, like "What do superheroes eat for dinner?"

Ok, it's now a must. Carlos and I need to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween.
