The Not So Hot Brown

I landed a little early and set off following the trillion signs to baggage claim. I'd just passed sign number 7 billion when I saw this figure running towards me, exclaiming, "You're here! You're here!" It was my original TSPP twin, Paige. Is this where I admit I got a little teary?

Paige drove me to her lovely home in Kentucky where I was reunited with my first adopted American mom and dad.

I had a tour of their home.

There's this college football team called the Louisville Cardinals that they think are kind of okay. They think they're so okay they dedicated an entire floor of their home to the team.

I have also been recruited as a fan and now have the official merchandise to prove it, thanks to Paige.

My adopted family and I then headed to the Troll Pub.

The first time Paige brought up a hot brown when we were at Disney I thought it was a foecal euphemism. There was a hot brown on the menu, which Paige insisted I order. I discovered it was not poo, but an alright tasting dish of turkey, mornay sauce, cheese, tomato and bacon.

The time between ordering and receiving our food was a little longer than expected. It was completely understandable. Perhaps our order was mixed up with nobody else's. We were literally the only guests there. It took so long they offered us caramel pretzel bites showered in salt as compensation.

The Troll Pub was the worst thing that happened in Kentucky. Actually, it was the only bad thing.

Then my fellow Ariel loving, Lexi arrived and Paige introduced us to her friend Hannah.

We conquered the walking bridge and walked straight into Indiana!

The walking bridge doesn't just allow walking.

After visiting a statue of Abraham Lincoln we explored the C21 Museum and Hotel.

The days in Kentucky only got more exciting as more of the original TSPP squad joined the fun.
