Viva Las Vegas

It was my Aussie birthday and Vegas was invited to the party. First stop was a walk through MGM Grand.

Samantha gave into her little coke habit at the Coca Cola store.

Later I celebrated with a few celebrity friends.

Samantha and I got our tickets to Madame Tussaud's for half price at a Tix stand. You can purchase discount tickets for a range of attractions as well as restaurant vouchers at stands located along The Strip.

None of us seemed to be any good at the selfie thing.

I reassured Leo I'd never let him go.

I made Bruno blush.

I offered George a beverage.

Brangelary made their red carpet debut.

A couple of tall friends didn't see me coming.

I fan girled a little.

Spent some quality time with the wolf pack.

I did a couple of sound checks.

Hulk really wanted me to hang around.

After seeing famous friends we checked out Flamingo.

Here they actually have real flamingoes.

We walked through the classy Cromwell.

Dinner that night was at Denny's after seeing the prices at one of the MGM Grand restaurants. They were very reasonable until we were warned of the 4 ounce serving sizes. That just wouldn't satisfy my American appetite.

The sizes at Denny's were slightly larger than 4 ounces.

Then we caught the bus to Fremont Street. For just $8 you can ride the bus as often as you want in a 24 hour period.

We watched other tourists zipline down the street.

Samantha and I danced to the rock covers performed on one of the stages in the street.

We walked along the rest of the street and spotted other empty stages. I can imagine that when it's not the middle of winter Fremont Street would be a much more happening place.

We moved on to dance the night away at Eye Candy Sound Lounge Bar in Mandalay Bay.

The cocktail list was limited, but the atmosphere and music provided the desired buzz. Plus this nightlife option was free.

The night concluded with a Krispy Kreme happy birthday donut at 3am.
