What Happens in Vegas

If someone says, "Hey, you wanna catch a Spirit flight to Vegas because it's cheap?"

Always answer, "No, that's ok. I prefer to fly with airlines that aren't delayed 2 and a half hours due to scheduling stupidity. I also like it when my airlines don't consider anything over 40 pounds to be overweight. And I'm partial to airlines that  believe service is more than occasionally collecting rubbish in the cabin. Thanks anyway, though."

After our unfortunate rollercoaster in the sky Samantha and I touched down to a pleasant cab ride. It transported us our amazing hotel room.

The Excalibur offered much more space than we'd had in over a year.

We had a queen bed... each.

There was a spacious bathroom, room for all our luggage and enough space to break dance if we wanted... or knew how.

After the standard holiday nap and a spot of "The Hangover" it was time to explore.

Our hotel was quite well priced, especially for its location on The Strip. Samantha and I discovered The Strip was like the Epcot World Showcase on steroids.

We were a short walk from New York, New York.

Not the city, the hotel.

It was here we spied our first Vegas casino.

Then we sussed out the Monte Carlo.

And found another casino.

Such a rare sight in Vegas. We definitely didn't see one in every hotel.

Crystals came next.

We caught the Bellagio fountain show.

Water dances to a variety of soundtracks. This time it was Viva Las Vegas by Elvis.  Just like the rest of our night, it was free.

Then we had a peek at Caesar's Palace.

We'd started that morning at 3am in -19 degrees celcius Milwaukee and made it all the way to two separate queen beds in Vegas. To find out what else happened in Vegas, you'll just have to read the next posts.
